Ransom BNE pres. YELLOW CLAW

At first it was two DJs having more fun playing shows together rather than separately. That turned into an Amsterdam club night, after which Yellow Claw took their show on the road-in the Netherlands and across the world. Their first songs came out in 2012, Blood For Mercy became a mantra and Barong Family was established as a record label. With a huge, loyal fanbase crowding their gigs from Las Vegas to Tokyo and everywhere in between, Yellow motherfucking Claw's is one of the most electrifying shows you'll come across.

As much as their music is about energy release by any means necessary, Yellow Claw's whole approach is highly conceptual and deliberate: from the numbered mixtapes to the branded merchandise (parkas to bathing suits), the slick music videos and collaborations with artists as diverse as Diplo and Ty Dolla $ign, Ti?sto and Pusha T. Launched in 2014, Barong Family has become a home to upcoming, likeminded artists like Cesqeaux, LNY TNZ, Moksi, Mightyfools, Mike Cervello, Chace and more.

Over the years, Yellow Claw has performed at the main stages of EDC Las Vegas, Ultra Music Festival, Jack ?'s New Year's Eve party, Spring Awakening and Coachella in the United States, Tomorrowland in Belgium, Mysteryland, Kingsday Festival, The Flying Dutch and Sensation in the Netherlands and Future Music Festival in Australia, has held a residency at the Wynn Las Vegas and played numerous headline shows in North and South America, Eastern and Western Europe and all along East Asia.

In November of 2015 Yellow Claw finally delivered its full-length debut album Blood For Mercy on Mad Decent, followed by a massive US tour. Featuring many big name features, it went straight to #1 on Billboard's Heatseeker Albums as well as Top Dance/Electronic Albums charts and also reached #1 on Beatport.

In 2016, Blood For Mercy won the Edison award (Dutch equivalent of the Grammys) for dance music in the Netherlands. The single "In My Room", made in partnership with DJ Mustard and featuring Ty Dolla $ign and Tyga, has so far clocked over 10 million views on YouTube and over 96 million streams on Spotify (not counting remixes). Two brand new singles were released both featuring debuting singer Yade Lauren ("Invitation" followed by "Love & War") with a 16-date Barong Family World Tour scheduled in between for good measure.

As Yellow Claw continue to play shows around the globe almost every weekend, they are pressing on with their second album which is expected to come out before the beginning of spring 2017. In the meantime, Barong Family, keeps up a regular schedule of releasing banger after banger from new as well as more established family members

Spenda C + Cult Shotta // Open til 7am

“It takes more than just talent for a producer to stay at the top of his game and span genres like Steve Lind does. Coming across a producer who juggles a number of aliases successfully, pushes his talents into a collaborative realm and maintains a level head is pretty rare these days. Steve Lind is the guy behind monikers like Spenda C, The Mane Thing and The Hump Day Project.”

Kill The Noise + Yvng Jalapeno // Ransom BNE

There’s a new ghoul haunting parties worldwide – a diamond-eyed, baseball-capped skull slapped to turntables, grinning off sweat-drenched t-shirts, and gleaming from 20-foot neon screens on stage. It’s the bony mascot of Kill The Noise, the buzzing young producer and DJ whose uniquely intense take on electronic dance music has kept him rocking around the globe. From packed nightclubs to sold-out festivals like HARD, Electric Daisy Carnival and Audiotistic, marking his territory every night with hypnotic, bass-heavy sets and skull stickers alike.

Amazingly, Kill The Noise has been able to leave such huge mark on his fans without a single official solo release. Yet that’s about to change in a big way with the release of his debut EP Roots, a diverse four-track collection that offers KTN a chance to show off musical influences while hinting at exciting new production frontiers. The title track is a tribal epic built on techy basslines and massive drums. “Jokes On You” is a cheeky, instantly memorable clubber featuring enormous detuned riffs and KTN’s own cut up vocals. “My World” jacks out with high-energy laser synths, while closing track “Perfect Combination” offers a infectious hook and feel-good disco vibes.

Roots is also the inaugural release on Slow Roast Records, a new imprint founded by Kill The Noise and world-champion deejay Craze, distributed by indie powerhouse Fool’s Gold. So rest assured – this skull will continue to shine!

The Aston Shuffle (DJ SET) // Open til 7am

Multitasking can be quite easy, if all the tasks are fundamentally enjoyable. Just ask The Aston Shuffle.

The Australian duo—Vance Musgrove and Mikah Freeman—have been making music together for a decade, and in this time have established themselves as forerunners of the Australian scene. Equally skilled as producers, remixers, selectors, and mentors, the guys have forged an ever-growing presence on the world stage since meeting in their native Canberra.

In addition to producing, Musgrove and Freeman have established themselves as ace selectors. Their weekly triple j show, The Friday Night Shuffle, reaches a million listeners every week and is the most popular Friday night radio program in Australia. The program gives listeners another snapshot of Musgrove and Freeman’s long track record of picking emerging talent. Acts such as Flume and RÜFÜS DU SOL, now among the world’s most exciting electronic acts in 2016, were tapped for remixes – and as a tour support act in the case of RÜFÜS DU SOL – when they were still fledgling projects.

The guys have an arsenal of new tracks they’re preparing for release, and the coming months will find them utilizing all of their talents in the studio, on the radio, and out in clubs.

Jay Lumen // Revival After Hours // Open til 7am

Jay Lumen... Music is part of his life since his childhood years. He learnt music in conservatory for eight years, which provided a good basis to his ambition of making music.

This ambition appeared very early, during the schooldays, when he started to turn compositions of classic authors to his own style, rather than playing the original versions of them. Although he was educated to play on a classic instrument - violin - he early recognized that his desire of creative work would not be realized with this kind of instrument. By getting his first computer, he immediately started to make his ideas to be heard. In the meantime he got to know the synthetizator in the way of self-education also, and as he obtained the newest technologies and softwares, he developed himself with them and got more and more closer to the sounding in which he felt himself familiar.

In his DJ sets he builds from house, tech house, techno and deep style elements mostly. Dynamic, pulsating grooves and pleasant vocalic tunes are also featuring his sound world and are easily sensible to the listener, both from his tracks and sets.
The artist with classic musical prequalification is now one of the most famous and internationally appreciated new generation DJ/producers.

FELIX DA HOUSECAT // Open til 7am

In a world obsessed with labeling an ever-evolving genre, Felix da Housecat is dedicated to making the people dance. He is one of those rare, charisma-oozing characters, whose musical and mental eccentricity come from a genuine place. He’s never afraid to take a risk to reach new ground. It’s this blend of qualities that has kept him in such high reverence in the electronic field for two decades now, and which has ensured that his music has been a consistently captivating force. An ever-moving target, his various incarnations have seen him morph from resolute acid and techno warrior to avant-garde nu-skool electro-disco pioneer to the man who gave one of the world’s most famous rappers a new lease of house-infused life long before major labels were putting every urban artist on their books over anemic 4/4 beats.

Felix is back in a big way, brimming with hunger and passion for music once again, and some incredibly hot new material. Returning with a slew of new material in 2013 via his label No Shame/Rude Photo, his rampant electro/disco concoctions will pave the way for a hotly anticipated new album later in the year. On top of all this fresh new music, a huge remix for Katy B is on the way, plus a global tour, a live BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix and his own signature headphones. This is the year that Felix Da Housecat reclaims his position amongst the upper echelons of dance music.

KINDER // COCO x REVIVAL // Open til 7am

You can’t fake the kind of effortless cool that Kinder seem to radiate. Whether that’s through their dancefloor-slaying sets or their effortless sense of style, sisters Savannah and Briony Osei make an impact that leaves a lasting impression.
Growing up in Maitland in NSW, the sisters come from a strong musical pedigree. Their mother, herself a singer, started them on an aural diet of her classic vinyl from an early age, inspiring Savannah to pick up both piano and guitar and both sisters to begin writing music before they hit their teens.

Their diverse range of musical influences, from Lorde to The Cure, Fleetwood Mac to Peking Duk, is clear in their track selection, dabbling in G-House, Vocal House and Tech House – these ladies can play from sunset to sunrise and never have a dancefloor empty. This fact has clearly not gone unnoticed, and Kinder have recently played at a number of festivals, including This That (2015/16), Mountain Sounds (2016/17), Groovin’ The Moo & The Plot.

With three releases already under their belts for Black Butter and MTA Records, Tommy and Jammo have built on their tastemaker status to produce remixes for the likes of UK No.1 “La La La” by Naughty Boy, “Right Here” by Rudimental, and “Mozart’s House” by Clean Bandit.

With Jammo originally hailing from High Wycombe and Tommy from Kent, the duo combined to form My Nu Leng when they moved to Bristol, taking influences from the spectrum of underground UK sounds with them – Drum and bass, Dubstep, UK garage and Grime all find outlets in their music. My Nu Leng are similarly known for their blistering sets and dark, smouldering vibe, heavy on the mood but always compulsively danceable.

With new music on the way and a packed diary of live tour dates, these are exciting times for My Nu Leng, proving they’re equally at home on underground tracks and Official Number One records. A tricky ask, Tommy and Jammo – just like their meteoric career so far – have made it look easy.

Quickly rising to the light on the scene, Remedy has performed at premium electronic events including Life In Color, Mad Decent Block & Boat Parties, and TomorrowWorld. SCNDL 'Find My Way' Tour

If time has taught us one thing, it is that Melbourne duo SCNDL deals in consistent dance floor destruction – no apologies or vowels required.

The creative union of Tom Grant and Adam Amuso, SCNDL’s bouncy yet highly-tuned peak time tendencies have made them a breakout force to be reckoned with on the global dance music radar.

By the time their sophpmore hit “Gypsy” had scaled the Beatport electro house top 15 and put them in the good books with the likes of Porter Robinson and Dada Life, SCNDL were one of the definitive stories of ascension to emerge from Melbourne, Australia, ground zero for the eponymous Melbourne Bounce contagion that’s caused a revolution in Australian clubland and is now legitimately airbourne and spreading virus-like on a planetary level.

This is the unapologetic face of low-end favoring dance music. Hold the vowels, take the plunge and prepare for the hell-borne sound of Melbourne.

MET NYE 16 feat. Hermitude, Claptone, Zeke Beats

Keeping consistent with our reputation of being the biggest NYE event in Queensland, we have taken this year to another level with our biggest line up yet! HERMITUDE + ZEKE BEATS (MAIN STAGE) // CLAPTONE (COCO / REVIVAL - open til 7am)

Hermitude are an evolving success story, from humble beginnings born in music and friendship, to creative and commercial peaks that grow with each release. Things really took off to another level when Hermitude's fourth album HyperParadise (released in early 2012) and, for the first time in their career, charted in the Australian Top 40. Then something else happened, a young producer named Flume remixed their song 'HyperParadise' and everything escalated. Hype Machine and Soundcloud went bonkers and the song went platinum.

When Elefant Traks released Dark Night Sweet Light on May 15 it became the #1 in the country-their first top ten album, and a landmark moment for Elgusto and Luke Dubs. It stayed in the Top 10 for weeks following. Their Australian album tour was completely sold-out and the international release of Dark Night Sweet Light is slated for August 28 through Nettwerk records.

In a now long forgotten world, many generations ago, a bird like shape emerged from wooded darkness, floating and fluttering, drifting and dreaming. Backlit by a bright glow of iridescentlight, the undecipherable form wore a dazzling golden mask. Its long beak swooped down like an inverted horn and since then, people have referred to the mythical being simply as Claptone.

Years spending wandering medieval landscapes have informed Claptone's view of the world, experiencing both magical mystery and muted melancholy he enchanted onlookers with occult instruments and beguiling sounds. Forever surroundedby a sense of intrigue, the world soon cottoned on to the elusive yet enchanting musical powers of this otherworldly beast. The results are that today his shamanistic sonic powers take him all around the world.

End of Year Gurn feat. Getter (USA) + Noy // Ransom BNE

For American electronic music producer Tanner Petulla, more often recognized by his stage name Getter. Since signing onto the Skrillex imprint OWSLA in 2015, Getter’s sounds have evolved from his early aggressive basslines to a blend of beats sailing buoyantly over waves of reverb and bass.

In 2015, we saw Getter put out some of his best content including his Allegiance EP and his futuristic, experimental bass album Getter Presents: Planet Neutral. Sitting at over 1.5 million views, his “Head Splitter” music video premiered via MTV, proving that the world is ready for his raw and slimey soundscape. In the past, Getter has infused his original production work into remixes for Brillz, Ghastly, Banyox, Jauz, Pegboard Nerds, Herobust, and Snails.

With releases on OWSLA, Mad Decent, Buygore, Warner Japan, Monstercat, and more, Getter’s powerful yet precise production skill set has evolved into an assimilation of elements that has listener’s heads turning twice.

Mashd N Kutcher are definitely NOT your average DJ’s.
Shortly after meeting each other in 2013, the boys created a concept for a live show, combining their love of music, plus skills as a drummer and pianist.
